- From the Downwards-facing Dog position, look forward between the hands.
- Bend the knees and push off the legs in a slow and controlled jump.
- Send the sit-bones up high. Aim to align your shoulders above your hands to balance.
- Control the landing.
- Land the feet hip-width apart near the hands.
Cautions and Modifications
The Controlled Jump may be difficult due to poor core strength, tight hips, or inexperience. An option would be to bend the knees and walk the hands to the feet (or walk the feet to the hands).
