BoxingYoga™ MISSION STATEMENT
The BoxingYoga™ Mission is to support fighters, athletes and yogis with a training system that improves mental and physical strength and flexibility; to maintain optimal health, prevent injury and maximise performance.
LEARNING AIMS AND OUTCOMES
This BoxingYoga™ Teacher Training Course aims to train and educate students to develop the knowledge and skills necessary to represent and lead a safe and effective BoxingYoga™ class.
Students who successfully complete this training will have a sound basis for:
- Explaining fundamental techniques and theories underlying boxing and yoga respectively.
- Demonstrating an ability to teach a safe and effective BoxingYoga™ class.
- Adhering to the BoxingYoga™ Brand Guidelines.
Everyone learns and absorbs knowledge in different ways and at varying speed. The nature of the Online BoxingYoga™ Teacher Training Course is to allow you to learn and build your knowledge at a pace that best suits you.
To help you in your journey, the following is a learning schedule guideline you may wish to use. Don't worry if one week becomes two, you can still use this Learning Schedule as a handy guide to check off as you progress.
Week 1 - Read Boxing Theory and complete the Test Your Knowledge quiz
Week 2 - Complete the Boxing Training section
Week 3 - Read BoxingYoga™ Theory and complete the Test Your Knowledge quiz
Week 4 to 6 - Read BoxingYoga™ Structure and complete the Test Your Knowledge quiz
Week 7 to 8 - Complete 4 Stages and 12 Rounds sections
Week 9 to 10 - Complete Video Tutorials
Week 11 - Read Coaching Practices
Week 12 - Read Coaching Philosophy and complete the Study Questions
Week 13 - Read BoxingYoga™ Brand Guidelines and Careers and recap everything you've learned
Week 14 - Complete Written Exam and begin to prepare your video assessment
